Annie Dillard Papers
This collection contains materials related to or written by author Annie Dillard. It includes her thesis from Hollins University, entitled "Walden Pond and Thoreau", periodical publications about Annie and her writing, and some copies of articles written by Annie.
Erich and Leila Rath Papers
This collection contains materials related to Erich and Leila Rath, and their children. Erich Rath was a music teacher and Music Department Director at Hollins College. His wife Leila was a German teacher. Erich wrote his memoirs in 1940, shortly before his death.

Ida Sitler's Papers
Ida Sitler was a Professor of Zoology (Biology), at Hollins College from 1920-1947, and was head of the science department for many years. She corresponded with several people and organizations over her time, including the Smithsonian, Clay-Adams Company, Smith College, US Department of Agriculture, and the National Museum in DC, among others.
John Ballator Papers
This collection contains the personal and professional papers of John Ballator, art professor and Chairman of the Art Department at Hollins College (now Hollins University). The majority of the collection is related to Frederick H. Vogel, a dear friend of Ballator.

This collection contains personal affects of Sarah Holland from the years of 1960 to 1971. It includes correspondence between herself and friends, family members, partners, and other individuals. It also includes many photographs of Sarah’s time at Hollins University and abroad, and personal photographs. Additionally, the collection contains memorabilia from her time at Hollins and from her time abroad.
Wingfield Family Papers
Lieutenant Colonel William Lewis Wingfield served in the 28th Virginia Infantry; he was captured and held twice during the war. This collection contains correspondence between him and many members of his family, as well as other correspondence collected by the family for a century.
