Biographical / Historical
Louisa B. Harvey (Persinger) was born on February 20, 1847 in Ronaoke County, Virginia to Robert B. Harvey and Julianna H. Harvey. She was the youngest of three. She attended Hollins Seminary (University from 1863-1865 studying history. She married John Abner Persinger in 1866 and they had four children. Louisa passed away March 11, 1887 at the age of 40.
